For the last few days I’ve been making steps towards long exposure photography … slow steps ;) I acquired B+W ND3.0 filter and started to test it. There are many instructions on the web on how to correct exposure for a specific ND factor but at first glance it seams that they are only guidelines … meaning that those conversions are only a closest point where you can start from and make your own adjustments and experiment. And that is the fun part ;)
Here is one example. Exposure without filter was 1/500 @ F8, conversion should be 2 sec @ F8 but I’ve end up with 4 sec @F7.1 …
After some further testing I’ll write some conclusions.
